Pottery Glicinea collection was inspired by colours found in nature, by combining the earthy tones of clay with the Bright colours of the flower glicinea.

Glicinea, “the tenderness flower”, is a luxuriant vining plant with several species. It symbolizes a certain romanticism for its involving capability. The Greeks believed that this plant preserved marital love. This flower blooms during Spring and depending on the species its colours vary from purple, pink, white and blue.

These varieties of colour were our inspiration for this collection, as well as the pending feature of the plant.

In order to create a more complex colour dynamic we add to the collection the earthy tones of clay.

Sometimes inspiration comes from the simplest places.
